We provide a balance of experienced, senior staff members and enthusiastic college players & recent graduates. Life Lessons Beyond Lacrosse: Our Camp is committed to teaching lessons beyond the game of lacrosse. Tolerance and respect for others is emphasized during camp. In keeping with the heritage of lacrosse as played by many Native American nations, we want campers to honor the game, their teammates, and their opponents.
Round robin tournaments! Coaches assign players to a team in one of three divisions, based on age, size and level of skill. Each division plays with the emphasis on instruction and individual attention. At the end of camp, all players receive a written personal evaluation.
All phases of the game covered: offensive and defensive fundamentals, shooting, dodging, ground balls, cutting, one-on-one play, stickwork, and face-offs. We also cover offensive and defensive team concepts, fast breaks, riding and clearing. Goalies are provided with extra instruction; individual critiques are offered after each game to improve personal performance.
